Baptism

Baptism is one of the two Sacraments that Lutherans celebrate (the Lord's Supper is the other.)  We view Holy Baptism as our entrance into the church of Christ, the family of God.  It is also the beginning of our work in the kingdom of God.

In Matthew 28:18-20 Jesus said to his disciples, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you.  And remember, I am with you always to the end of the age."
